Sturdy plastic monitor clamp. Can be attached to tripod at the bottom or on the back as desired using industry-standard 1.4" 20 threads. Top clamp, bottom clamp and rear mounting point are all adjustable.

Unlike many tablet-oriented clamps on the market which have slanted rubber grips, this clamp has a flat sponge grip. The flat grip will distribute pressure evenly and the sponge will protect your device from scratches.

Warning: Some portable monitors by other brands may be too thick to mount securely using this clamp. Note "Supported device thickness" in the table below. Volgia monitors are guaranteed to fit snug as a bug 🐞.

It clamps

I like this clamp, it is easy to use, very lightweight and multiple points to attach to tripod. Sometimes you don't need it super high so you attach it in the middle, but sometimes you need monitor super high so you attach it at the bottom.

It feels cheap though, very plasticky.

Perfect for Volgia monitor

Very easy to use clamp, it fits the Volgia monitor very well. When this thing is in, no amount of shaking will dislodge it! Can hold an iPad too in a pinch.

I also bought a different portable monitor to test with -- the Asus MB16QHG -- and that monitor doesn't fit, it's far too thick.
